I am done with my Big Bang story...edits and all the jazz are done! 

I owe my guru of all things Scottish, Laura, a half-dozen lessons in "How to Speak Like a True Californian" and a guided tour of Disneyland if she ever gets out here. :D

I owe my beta and personal English to Outlandish translator about a dozen plates of cookies and a bucket filled with gratitude.

Thanks...it's been like forever since I attempted anything of this size. A 25k word fic is a monster conpared to my normal 700 word stories. LOL

Now I've gotta start kicking around a plot idea for the AiW Big Bang, LOL. :D :D

That's very wise. I hope some other people who would otherwise be reluctant to commit might take that approach as well.

Mine is already over 24,000 words, but I am running out of a great deal of free time to finish this up and it still needs another four chapters or so to complete the story arc I've got outlined. I've jumped all over writing one chapter, skipping another... I suppose I can set it aside and knock out chapters when I do have a few free hours here and there.

I'm still totally in love with the pretty for the community. Well done, my dear.

Yeah, I think it will. I know with the scifibigbang there were quite a few people who wanted to do something like that approach, so hopefully we'll hook them in. LOL :D

Well, if you're talking about Laura, she didn't beta my story. She was my constant "Should it be 'I'm nae gonnae go tae the park'?" I'm sure she got tired of me and started crossing her fingers that I didn't send her anymore PMs. LOL

My beta on the other hand is someone from the AiW fandom and she was fabulous. (Especially taking someone like me under her wing who is so new to the fandom.)
