So Bungie's been doing their weekly Fanart challenge and everytime they post the recap, I end up thinking one thing...."WHY CAN'T I DRAW?"  I've tried..., but dude, no.   To have to ability to actually draw something from the recesses of my mind? I want. So bad.

The highlight of the week...because this is the drawing that matches my image of John the most. And it's funny. LOL (I understand why the guy won the best of the week, but, dude, no...the face is not John.  Well, in my mind anyway. LOL)

So, things are moving along quite well in the planning stages of the scifibigbang thanks, in huge part, to my co-mod of awesomeness sanadafaye   It's scary to think that sign-ups are three weeks away.  *repeats mantra to be more organized this year*

I've decided to write the "Rapunzel and Flynn's Excellent Adventure" idea for the Big Bang though I'll probably be flailing in April saying "HOW CAN I WRITE 25K??!!?"  I'm hoping the DVD will be out by June because I want to watch it hundred more times need it for research.  (And yes, I'm still expecting to see many of you sign-up.)

My AU of epic size is still eating away at my life.  I've written over 17k in 11 days.  Dude. 

I've decided my EA Active Workouts video game is trying to kill me.  Too. Many. Lunges. LOL

On a side note, let's see how blonde Jessica is...Why have I been saying "meme" like "mehmeh" like, um, forever?  Really, meme is pronounced "Meem"? Then why didn't someone spell it like that? Come on, admit it...my blondness is amusing always at times.

I'm really reconsidering writing my Sci-fi/Fantasy Big Bang story in the Tangled fandom.  Think of it...Rapunzel and Flynn with dragons, mermaids, and Vikings (or maybe pirates...), oh my! (And let's not forget Pascal and Max, right?)

Speaking of the scifibigbang , sign-ups start in about a month on the 1st and, yes, I'm expecting to see some of you sign-up.  Rough drafts aren't due until July 1.  That's like an epic amount of time.  Personally, I think Laura should write a Sherlock/SGA big bang fic, but that's just me, LOL.

More details will be coming out in the next couple of weeks, after I finalize things with my co-mod. But the min word count is 25k, so start your muses people! :D :D

On an interesting side note, my sister's ex-boyfriend's uncle wrote the screenplays for all the Pirates movies.  She got to go to the premiere of the last  movie at Disneyland...and get the whole red carpet gift bag and stuff.  Er, I guess that plays right into the "all Southern Californians are connected to Hollywood" stereotype...
