I have a file on my PB of all the icons I've snagged. I had to stop snagging them. If I had the money and posted more I'd get a paid account. If I ever get back to Europe I'm going to do a Travel journal, then I'll pay for an account and get all the icons I want.

I say look at your hard drive. If you have more than 250 or even twice that at 500 or even 3754 (my count on my harddrive) then you will probably will run out of room for icons at lj even at that massive number of 250.

Just remember you will face deleting them often no matter what you do. Therefore, I just keep it at 15 so I can keep a good rotation of icons going.

Actually what is impressive is that there is an organization and naming convention to it. I actually have 53 subfolders inside of it now somehow. O.O

because I am lazy this was the state of my folders last July and it is pretty much the same except for a lot more gifs and icons!


Yes I know you are probably doing this

but it is kind of totally worth it. If I see something I like I grab it and it is fair game for icon wars with my sister. Those are a lot of fun!

Anyway, don't waste the money on LJ, use that 30 dollars to get nifty new software if you are going to spend it on icons, so that you can make more than those measly 250 icons! You will have a hole bunch more shiny icons that look cool instead. ^_^

Slowly just back away...

You have a lot going on with the Big Bang. You are the Supreme Organizer and you have 25,000 words to write. To add to it with 250 Icons and have a real life is not possible. You are only one super-stellar being!

Put the 250 Icons on the back burner. Let them slowly simmer until August 15. Then after the Big Bang, re-examine the idea.

Do not look back at the 250 Icons. Just keep stepping back. Don't touch. Distract yourself with something shiny...
