OK, so I'm trying to make a textbox of the author sign-ups for the scifbigbang and this is what happens:

User Name: <br />Author Name (if different): <br />Fandom: <br />Email addie: <br />Do you need a beta? <br />Do you have a AO3 (Archive of Our Own) account?

Can anyone help me with telling me how to get rid of the annoying <br /> tag?

Try just taking them out. In HTML the < br> tag has no end tag.

In XHTML the < br> tag must be properly closed, like this: < br />.

I tried! But I can't edit the textbox in the Rich text mode and every time I delete them in the html window, it keeps coming back.

It's ok, if I can't figure it out, I'm just going to delete the text box. Thanks so much for your help though!
